August 2018 Update
Another busy month here at KeelowCraft Boats.
The boys and girls have been flat out with still plenty
of builds taking shape out in the workshop.
Ashley is moving forward with the latest Riverwild
480 project. This one getting a Marine Power 6LVVT
engine and a close coupled Hamilton 212 jet unit.
This is a very well specked boat with Canadian
marine heater for those colder days or to just dry
those wet feet!
Logan is well through another 480 that is heading to
the North Island for the customer to fit his SBC383 &
Mark is busy doing the final fit out on the Riverwild
380 that is heading North and will be running a
2.4L N/A Toyota and 7.5" Scott jet unit.
JP is busy doing the final fit out on Shotover Jets
T11 tour boat while Liz has been busy repairing a Dart River Safari's tour boat and busy completing the hull manufacture on Shotover Jet's T12 tour boat.
Elliot has had the usual repairs and maintenance going on with a couple of insurance jobs just fresh back from the paint shop to finish off! He has also been making headway on fitting out a clients replacement hull from an accident that wrote his old hull off earlier in the year!
We also have a couple of nice turn key packages coming up before Christmas with a Riverwild 480 getting a 6.2L Direct Injected Marine Power engine & Scott 852 jet unit and a Riverwild 450 getting a 6.2L Direct Injected Marine Power close coupled to a Hamilton 212 jet unit.
Remember if you are looking at repowering your existing boat contact us for a price on the many engine options we have.
We have currently in stock a new Vortec 350 Chev engine and have coming available 2x Kodiak 6L Marine Engines with only 150hrs in the next 6-8 weeks. (Contact me for more details.)
I managed to sneak away to Haast with 6 other boats last weekend for a couple days boating. Even when its raining on the Coast it is still spectacular boating.
Also remember that our local river the Mataura is now open for a couple of months so lets make the most of it and get using those boats.
Contact us to make an appointment to get your repairs, servicing & maintenance up to date now.
The Southland Twin Rivers Race is also on in a couple of weeks (18-19th) on the Waiau & Oreti Rivers so a good chance to get out and watch this action packed racing.
Until next month.
