January 2019 Update

Hi guys,

Where did January go?

It's February already and our team are busy

getting into the start of this years list.

I hope everyone is well refreshed after their

Christmas/new year break. The weather has

played the game and allowed us all to get those

boats out like we hoped.

Sarah, Ryan and I managed to get away and

enjoy the product we sell with some friends and

family over the break. It still amazes me the

country we can access in a jet boat and what

NZ has to offer.

We have a couple of exciting builds coming up

this year and we look forward to showing you all

as the year progresses.

In the mean time its business as usual with Logan finishing up the fabrication on a Riverwild 450 that he started late December 2018. This boat is a very high specked build with a Marine Power 6.2L DI engine and close coupled Hamilton 212 jet unit. This boat is due for completion late February in time for our KeelowCraft owners weekend in March.

Liz is finishing off a Highlander 470 build for a repeat customer.

JP is close to having a Riverwild 420 ready for the client to start the fit out of his LS1 and American Turbine jet unit.

Elliot has had a very busy start to the year with several insurance jobs and a couple of 10hr first checks along with the other general servicing and repairs that has been happening.

Sam our newest recruit and apprentice is busy learning the art of building trailers for on going builds along with cutting out the next few builds that are to be jigged down in the coming weeks.

Mark has been busy getting plans in place for a Riverwild 480 build that needs to built to Maritime NZ Rule 40. This build will be a very well specked work boat that will be operating on some of the toughest rivers the west coast has to offer. We look forward to designing and producing a vessel for the needs of this department.

Good luck to the teams competing in the Otago Rivers jet boat race in a few weeks. We won't be competing but hope to be there watching the 25 odd boats compete.

As mentioned above we have this years KeelowCraft owners weekend coming up on the 15/16/17th March based in Methven and boating the Rakaia River. If you own a KeelowCraft and you aren't receiving our invite letters and updates, please contact Donna in the office, admin@keelowcraft.com and she will add you to the mailing list.

We have finally had some time to get the two 6LVVT Kodiak engines we have for sale cleaned up and serviced. These are ready to fit to your next project now. We also have in stock a new CT525/LS3 crate engine and a couple of SBC350 crate engines due any day. Give me a call if you need any information on these.

Until next month.

Safe boating.
